 The 2007 Keeper Corner

Our kidding season for 2006 at the Never Done Ranch was a great year.  We have pictures of some of the keepers below.  They are sired by our Scorpio son, OB OutPlay;   WarLord, our WarPaint son, and Eggsploding, our Eggsfile son.   We will be using these does as replacement does in our herd and use some as part of our flush program.

Never Done Pied - Our Yard Mascot!

A pair of Tank daughters sired by Big Red Machine, a solid red buck that traced back to many of the original CODI/PCI animals.

A Tank grandaughter out of Slots, a Red Eggcursion daughter and sired by T-4 Austin

A Sumo granddaughter sired by OutPlay

This doe is sired by EggsPloding.   When she was six weeks old, we lost her dam so she is a definite keeper.

This is a pair of paint does from our 2005 flush out of Bodacious and sired by T-4 Austin.  They were born in January 2006.

This is a doe out of our solid black doe, Midnight and sired by Osirus

This is a pair of solid black does out of our 2005 flush.  They were born in January 2006 out

of  Davis Black Girl and a buck that now resides in Kansas, Choco-A-Toby.

We will flush one of these girls in 2007 to Night Rider.

This is a pair of does out of a natural breeding of our WarPaint daughter and Choc A Toby.  The dam

produced quads as a first time mother.  She raised three of the four and the solid black buck kid was the high selling

buck at the Southern Classic production sale.

These two does were purchased this year as replacement does.  Their body style and color was what we look for in our herd does.  They were purchased from Terry and Sue Taylor of Windy Acres in Lubbock, Texas.  We just love these does and hope crossed with our bucks will produce offspring just like themselves.  The doe on the right goes back to Sumo X 3 and Renior, the 2001 National Champion buck and High Magic Dreamer, the two time National Champion doe.  The doe on the left traces back to Renior, Warpaint and Sumo on her dam side.
